Heat pump constantly running, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We just got a new heat pump (carrier brand) less than a week ago, and for some reason it's constantly running, even when it's not that cold outside. It'll turn on and stay on for about 10-15 minutes, turn off for about 5 then turn right back on. We've had a HVAC electrician come out twice now, and we still seem to be having problems, they always say everything is fine. But it doesn't seem right for it to be running all the time if it's over 45F degrees outside. Is there anything we can do to fix this problem? I dont want a huge bill!

You don't have a problem. It's supposed to run as long as it is heating. Turn the thermostat down and put on a sweater. Insulate the house. The heat pump is doing exactly what it is designed to do. It has nothing to do with the outside temperature. It has everything to do with the inside temperature.
